![]() It really is as simple as it sounds, we remove your old tile totally dust free. No dust, no mess, no stress! Not only does our service include removing your old floors dust free, but we also haul away all tile debris! When we leave, you're left with a clean sub floor ready for new flooring. We became involved in dust free tile removal after analyzing our remodeling process and addressing the messiest and time-consuming part of it: the flooring removal. After using the techniques and equipment on our own projects within the business, we decided to offer it to the public, creating Pro Dust Free Tile Removal. Traditional tile removal is messy- tile is chipped away and thinset is ground down into a ultra fine powder, comparable to the consistency of flour. Imagine blowing flour all over your house, finely coating all your surfaces, walls, everywhere. That is what traditional tile removal can be like! Even worse than the inconvenience of a dusty mess, thinset contains crystalline silica. On its own, crystalline silica is not harmful. Materials like sand, stone, concrete and mortar contain it. It only becomes dangerous when it is made airborne. Respirable crystalline silica is created when cutting and grinding thinset and concrete. Breathing in these very small particles can increase the risk of developing respiratory diseases. With our specialized tools and expertise, we are able to remove a variety of flooring types while capturing this harmful and messy dust. On average, we collect about 1 lb of this dust per square foot of tile removed. The below video goes into detail about the dangers of crystalline silica and the protections OSHA has put in place to protect workers exposed to it. HOW IT WORKSWe use specialized tool attachments and powerful HEPA vacuum systems. When dust is created from chipping away tile or grinding down thinset or glue, it is immediately sucked away by our vacuum system and filtered away, allowing it to never enter the free air in your home. OUR PROCESS![]() The first step in our process is to give you a quote. This can be done over the phone just by asking you a few questions about the type of flooring, tile size and the square footage of what you're looking to have removed. We'll even email you a written quote if you'd like! If you want to move forward, we'll send you our proposal to sign digitally and a link to pay your deposit online. No hassle of having to print out papers to sign and scan or mail back to us, we keep it simple! Once your project is scheduled, we'll give you a call a day before we're scheduled to arrive to confirm our appointment. In most instances, we'll schedule to start bright and early at 7:30 AM. On your scheduled day, we'll arrive and get right to work! We'll need access to a 220 volt outlet to plug in our specialized equipment. This is usually an outlet that your dryer or oven plug into. Before we begin, we'll cover up any furniture or cabinets as needed to prevent damage from tile shards (no dust!) We'll also put on jamb protectors in the areas we're working in to protect your trim and doorways from hoses and cords rubbing up against them while we work as seen in this photo. When we're done, you'll be left with a clean subfloor ready for new flooring. No dusty mess! No matter the type of new flooring you are installing, dust free tile removal is the way to go. Before and AfterStill not convinced? Check out the videos below to see before and afters. Our results speak for themselves! QUESTIONS?Give us a call! 407-636-8575 ![]() Federal Pacific Electric Company (FPE) panels are commonly found in homes built from the 1950s to 1980s. The problem with FPE panels is that one in four Stab-Lok breakers in an FPE panel will not properly trip. The breakers inside the panel are designed to protect your home from serious electrical problems by preventing circuit overload, short circuits and outside power surges affecting the panel. When an overload occurs, a breaker trips and stops power to the circuit. In the case of Federal Pacific panel boxes, the breakers may fail to trip creating a real threat of fire. When a breaker fails to trip, a huge amount of power surges from the outside electrical supply and into a homes electrical panel and circuits. Once the surge occurs, it cannot be shut off manually. The electricity will burn until it runs out of fuel or the wires melt, possibly overheating and catching fire, causing serious damage to the home. Most insurance companies have blacklisted this type of panel and will require you to replace it to be insured or pay a higher premium. You may also have an issue when refinancing or selling or buying a home with a FPE panel. Do not wait for something to happen before you decide to replace your Federal Pacific panel. Give us a call today for a free estimate! 407-834-0114 ![]() With any panel, serious problems that require IMMEDIATE attention include: • panel surface is warm to the touch, • an unusual odor around the panel, • a crackling or buzzing sound, • visible arcing or sparks, • visible charring or melting. If you detect any of these symptoms, immediately turn off the flow of electricity to the affected breaker, or turn off the entire panel by switching the main breaker OFF. KRI, Inc also offers the following electrical services: Diagnose and repair electrical issues, Ceiling fan and light fixture installation, Recess can light installation, Circuit breaker replacement, Electric Meter and Breaker Panel Upgrades & change outs, Electric heat, ranges & dryer installation, Energy saving lighting solutions, LED conversion, Exhaust fan installation, Generator installation, Holiday lighting, Indoor and outdoor lighting, outlets, switches and dimmers, Florescent ballast and bulb replacement, Kitchen & bath remodels. This kitchen started out as a dated space in an immaculate house that needed a kitchen to match. We removed walls, ceiling soffit, changed plumbing and electrical locations and of course all new cabinets, counter tops and fixtures among many other things. Check out the photos below to see our progress up to completion. This project was so much fun and such a pleasure for us to complete. I hope you all love it just as much as we do! Before Original design intent. There were some changes made along the way but this was the base of the entire kitchen. Demo of old tile floors, drywall and kitchen cabinets removed by ProDustFreeTileRemoval.com. Ceiling soffit still to be removed here and the wall on the left side. All electrical in that wall has to be safely terminated. The framing and electrical of the wall is removed! The ceiling soffit is also removed. What a difference! Having the ceiling the same level really opens up the space. The rough area of where the concrete will be trenched in order to extend the plumbing and electrical from their original location drawn on the subfloor. Cutting concrete is no easy task, especially inside someone's home. Concrete is trenched and plumbing and electrical are run. This is where the new island will be! Once the soil is disturbed, it MUST be treated to protect against termites. The concrete to cover up the trench in the last photo has been poured, electrical has been run to new locations, drywall has been hung and primed and wood-look plank tile to match the rest of the house has been installed. It's almost a kitchen again! Cabinets have been installed. Almost there! Granite counter tops, faucet and sink are installed. Toe kicks, baseboards and crown molding to be installed. Undercabinet lighting, pendant lights, backsplash and pop up outlets are installed. Crown molding, toe kicks and base boards have been installed as well along with all appliances but cook top. Kitchen is complete! Cabinet hardware, cook top, range hood and pot filler have been installed!
KRI donated a day with their team to help set up tables, a stage and unload and organize hundreds of donated clothing items for the He Got Up! event by the Orlando Serve Foundation. He Got Up! is an event created to provide services for the homeless and underserved of Central Florida. They offer legal services, jobs, medical services, haircuts, hot showers, clothing, and food for thousands of people.
We all had a great time spending the day together for a great cause! KRI played for a cause in the Project Walk Orlando Golf Benefit at the Metro West Golf Course. Project Walk Orlando exists to provide those living with a spinal cord injury the opportunity to achieve their greatest recovery potential and an overall increased quality of life. Through the support of those that participated, Project Walk Orlando was able to raise $20,000 to purchase new equipment for their facility and to increase their client assistance fund!
